Manic Monday

Oh my oh my! What a day. For those of you that know me know the whole situation about my current pregnancy, for those of you who don't lets just say its been a rocky ride thus far but we have good news...we heard the heartbeat today! We're almost out of the woods!

Hopefully now that I'm 10 weeks I only have a few weeks left of this morning sickness crap.

I didn't fall asleep till almost 5 am, partially my fault...partially my daughters. Bella didn't go to sleep until like 3 am. But I had started a book and I'm a nerd...I had to finish! Andd worth it...such a good book. Good series in general! However Bella slept till like 1300/1330...thank goodness!!

So I got up, got dressed and was going to head out to the doctor when Bella told me she wanted to go to "brothersisters" doctor with me so we let daddy rest more and headed out. She had a blast. She got to hear the baby's heartbeat and and put the dopplar on her tummy and hear "her" baby too. She was so excited and surprisingly super good too. Maybe because she had a ringpop :) she held something for the nurse taking my blood and was so proud of herself.

Came home, cooked some lunch, and FINALLY got my flippin gravy fries. Oh. My. Goodness. They were heaven. For some reason we can never get fries crispy any help with this?

So short version of the rest of the day because apparently Alex is hungry and can't cook for himself (what would they do without us?) Came home, watched something on the Templars in America, took a nap, woke up, now cooking Al and I dinner.

Ps. How is he getting pissed at me for not knowing how he wants me to cook chicken? Can he not make a decision? Fine. Grilled chicken. It will be the most boring dinner. Grrr. Maybe I should have taken him up on the Waffle House idea...

  1. Yay for a heartbeat!!

Try cooking your fries on crumpled up tin foil! Works like a charm (if you are doing it in the oven that is).
